2025-26 Week One Results

The WCHL’s 30th Anniversary season kicked off with an absolute GOAL FEST as the Knights stormed past the Thunderbirds in a 13–7 shootout!

The Knights’ attack was rolling all afternoon with Anthony Theuer leading the charge, while rookie Michael Crider stole the spotlight in his debut — not only grabbing his first career point, but also burying his first career goal  (and adding a few more for good measure).

Big plays from Trei Cools kept the scoreboard lighting up as the Knights pulled away late.
The Thunderbirds didn’t go quietly, though. Tristan Parent was on  with a monster afternoon of goals and helpers, while Alex Ernsberger and Jeff Fleshner chipped in to keep the pressure on.

What a way to start Year 30 — goals everywhere, new faces making history, and the Knights snagging the first W of the season!
