2024-25 Week Twelve Results
The Knights (3-5-0) pulled off a commanding 9-3 victory over the Chargers (5-3-0) in an intense matchup that saw Zeljko Sreckovic and Marty Witberg light up the scoresheet.
The game started with the Chargers striking first, as Brent Severance found the back of the net. However, the Knights responded with authority, with Witberg scoring twice to take the lead. Sreckovic then took over, scoring back-to-back goals, one assisted by Witberg, to put the Knights up 4-1 after the first period.
The second period saw the Knights extend their lead, as Witberg completed his hat trick. Dean Olivas responded for the Chargers with a goal off assists from Katie Frayer and Severance, but the Knights were relentless. Sreckovic, assisted twice more by Witberg, added two more goals to complete his own hat trick and give the Knights a commanding 7-2 lead heading into the final frame.
Severance scored his second of the game early in the third, with Olivas and Frayer assisting, but the Knights weren’t done. Sreckovic added his fifth goal of the game off another Witberg assist, and Ronnie Woodring put the exclamation mark on the win with his first career goal, assisted by Witberg.
